Burn's Night at The Quay: Walk Barefoot over Burning Coals!

9.1.2012 - The Quay will host the 10th anniversary ‘Third Degree’ Burns Night Firewalk on Wednesday 25th January.

The Firewalk will feature twenty feet of red hot coals located outside ALEA Casino at The Quay. Enable Scotland is asking people to put aside their fears and brave the glowing red firewalk to support its work for individuals who have learning disabilities and their families.

Firewalkers will be taken through a two-hour ‘Learn or Burn’ seminar to prepare them for what is to come. Enable is hoping that brave-hearted over 18s will treat The Firewalk as the best way to celebrate Burn’s Night without suffering any burns!

Registration is £25 online with a minimum commitment to raising £60. Over 18 spectators will also be welcome to join participants at the after event celebration hosted by ALEA for a small additional fee.
